Abu Dhabi Police seized three Asians, in possession of 380 kilograms of hashish and 400,000 pills of narcotic drugs, in an operation they called "across the border" that dealt a heavy blow to dealers of these toxins.

The Director of the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the Criminal Security Sector in Abu Dhabi Police, Colonel Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, stated that the operation began with the arrival of classified information about the existence of a gang seeking to promote an amount of narcotic substances, and accordingly a security plan was developed to arrest the gang that focused on removing all its members in flagrante delicto At the same time.

He explained that the plan was able to overthrow the gang formation and control the quantities of drugs in their possession, after they acknowledged their actions, and then complete the legal procedures against them and refer them to the judicial authorities.

He stressed Abu Dhabi Police’s great interest in combating drugs, because of their grave negative effects on society, and their keenness to overcome obstacles and challenges in order to limit their spread and control those involved in promoting these dangerous toxins to young people.

The Director of the Criminal Security Sector, Brigadier General Muhammad Suhail Al-Rashdi, praised the efforts of the anti-drug men, and their keenness to follow the accurate security measures according to court plans that had a great impact on overthrowing the gang that was run from outside the country to target the homeland, and drowning its youth in the clutches of abuse.
