It is understood that Tianjin Port is upgrading and transforming the traditional container terminal intelligently.
Relying on technologies such as satellite positioning, 5G communications, and autonomous driving, Tianjin Port has successfully broken through the unmanned automation transformation technology of traditional container terminals, and will continue to upgrade and transform traditional terminals in the future.
It is estimated that the transformed automated container terminal saves more than 70% of costs, reduces the comprehensive energy consumption of a single container by more than 20%, and reduces the comprehensive operating cost of the terminal by more than 10%. It is not only smarter, but also more green and economical.
