President Moon Jae-in is planning to visit the National Assembly today to give a corrective speech to explain the next year's budget of 55.8 trillion won.

President Moon is expected to include a message in his speech that bipartisan cooperation is needed to overcome Corona 19 and recover the economy.

President Moon is expected to ask the National Assembly to support it through a smooth budget review, especially as the government's Korean version of the New Deal is successful.

In addition, there is a possibility that a message to cooperate in strengthening the social safety net, such as expansion of employment insurance for specially employed workers and measures to protect face-to-face workers such as courier drivers and health care workers, etc., may also be included.

However, it is known that the issue of the establishment of a public detention center or the reform of the prosecution, which has attracted attention recently, will not be included in the speech or will be mentioned at a minimum.

It is interpreted that there is no reason to include the subject of sharp conflict between the ruling and opposition parties in the speech requesting the National Assembly's cooperation on the budget.

It is reported that the 1st opposition party, the People's Power, discussed whether to attend President Moon's correctional speech at a general assembly meeting yesterday. He said he would.

If the power of the people does not attend today, it will be the first example of a municipal speech without the first opposition party.
