China Overseas Chinese Network, October 26. According to the American Overseas Chinese News Network, since the Mayor of New York, De Sihao, launched the Main Street bus lane project in early June, it has been repeatedly opposed by Chinese businessmen, residents and city councillors in the Flushing community, including Gu Yaming. The Chinese community commissioned lawyers to intervene in negotiations with the Municipal Transportation Bureau, and the project was temporarily postponed for trial implementation in early October.

However, the Municipal Transportation Bureau recently stated that the Main Street bus lane project is planned to be piloted in two weeks.

The Municipal Transportation Bureau plans to start the trial of the Main Street bus lane project within two weeks, and the news has also been confirmed by the office of City Councillor Gu Yaming.

According to the Municipal Transportation Bureau, they are updating the team members with the latest trial plan. After completing some additional review and outreach work, the Municipal Transportation Bureau will carry out the Main Street bus lane project in the next two weeks. The implementation work includes replacement Street marking, installation of road signs and ease of parking (Parking Mitigations).

The Municipal Transportation Bureau also hopes to convene a community advisory committee meeting in late November so that the authorities can conduct group discussions and obtain preliminary feedback on the pilot project.

In addition, the Queens Office of the Municipal Transportation Bureau is happy to provide real-time assistance for problems that may arise in the project.

Starting this week, the authorities will also distribute "What's Happening Here" (What's Happening Here) leaflets and instruction manuals. All promotional materials will be translated for public viewing.

The authorities hope that the pilot project will benefit the development of downtown Flushing.
