The former municipal councilor in Kungsbacka Hans Forsberg resigned at his own request after he was caught in May buying sex in Gothenburg.

At the end of September, the municipal board decided that he would receive his politician's pension, which totals just over six million kronor.

The municipal councils consider it unfair

But in an appeal to the administrative court in Gothenburg, a resident says that four of the municipal councilors who were involved in making the decision are unfair.

The reason is that the municipal councilors have worked with Hans Forsberg for a long time, and that they have the same type of pension agreement.

"I claim that there are circumstances that upset the confidence of four of the members who voted for the decision to grant the elected representative a fixed-term pension," the person writes.

Want a new decision

The person therefore demands that a new decision be made by "unequal members" in Kungsbacka municipality.

Kungsbacka municipality has now received an injunction to send in supplementary documents before 30 October.

But it is still unclear whether the administrative court will take up the case.

Kungsbacka-Posten was the first to report on the news.
