For the second year, the city library distributes free books to encourage children to read.
About a thousand books have been bought for this year's dividend.
- We have tried to find what children want.
It may be the latest book in a series, says librarian Hedvig Andersson who works with the reading initiative at Eskilstuna City Library.
Nils Hedenfeldt found a book he had heard read at school.
- I like these books, he says.
There is also no doubt about what the holiday is called.
- It is called a reading holiday and not an autumn holiday, says Hedvig Andersson.
During the day, books were also distributed in Torshälla.
