The CCP conclave opens Monday, October 26 in a doubly uncertain context.

Firstly because of the Covid-19 pandemic, which is weighing on global economic health and also, to a lesser extent, on that of China.

An uncertain context also due to trade tensions, in particular with the United States, at a level probably never reached since the end of the Cold War.

Tensions that have direct repercussions on certain Chinese companies, such as Huawei or TikTok.

Faced with this context, President Xi Jinping wants to develop the concept of "dual circulation".

The idea is to meet growing domestic demand with domestic production, products "made in China", without turning its back on exports or foreign investment.
