He noted that in every interview he is asked where Azerbaijan's Turkish F-16s come from.
“Everyone knows that they are on the ground, that they came here for exercises, but after the outbreak of the war they stayed here,” RIA Novosti quoted Aliyev.
According to him, the fighters are aid from Turkey.
"If a foreign aggression is committed against us, they will see these F-16s," Aliyev stressed.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov opposed the further unwinding of the military scenario in Karabakh and called on external players to intensify efforts to stabilize the peace process in the region.
