China News Service, October 26. According to the Vietnam News Agency, a landslide occurred at Laozhuang No. 3 Hydropower Station in Toyota County, Chengtian-Hue Province, Vietnam, causing more than 10 people to be killed or missing.

Affected by the typhoon, search and rescue personnel have suspended search and rescue work for the missing.

Search and rescue personnel have been transferred to Laozhuang No. 4 Hydropower Station to ensure safety.

  According to reports, since the evening of the 24th local time, rainfall has continued to occur in Chengtian-Hue Province, causing landslides and flooding risks.

Therefore, the search and rescue forces requested that no additional personnel be sent to Laozhuang No. 3 Hydropower Station, and all search and rescue personnel should be transferred to Laozhuang No. 4 Hydropower Station on standby.

When weather conditions permit, search and rescue forces will continue to seize the time to carry out search and rescue work.

  At present, due to weather conditions, the search and rescue work of Laozhuang No. 3 Hydropower Station has encountered many difficulties.

  As of the morning of the 25th local time, search and rescue personnel have found the bodies of 5 workers, among which the search and rescue personnel have confirmed the identities of 2 victims.

The search and rescue work for the other 12 victims continued for many days, day and night.

  In the early morning of October 12, local time, a landslide occurred at Lao Zhuang No. 3 Hydropower Station in Vietnam, killing and missing 17 workers.
