According to a report by the Kazakhstan News Agency, in the early morning of October 26, a total of 6 international flights arrived at the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan International Airport, of which 108 passengers were not carrying valid COVID-19. The negative nucleic acid test report was sent to the designated isolation center for testing.

  The news pointed out that in the early morning of the 26th, a total of 722 passengers who took international flights of Astana Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Belarusian Airlines and Dubai Airways arrived in the city of Nur-Sultan.

  Among them, 108 passengers were sent to the designated isolation center for testing because they did not carry a valid COVID-19 nucleic acid test negative report.

If the test shows normal, these passengers will leave the isolation facility and go home.

However, if the test result is positive, they will be sent to the New Crown Hospital for treatment.

  The enhanced version of entry prevention measures issued by the chief health physician of Kazakhstan, Kiyasov, will take effect on October 27, 2020.

According to the enhanced entry prevention measures, all passengers arriving in Kazakhstan on international flights are obliged to provide a certificate of negative PCR test for COVID-19 within 72 hours.

Children under the age of 5 do not need to show the certificate if their accompanying person is carrying a new crown test certificate.
