- It originally comes from the Caucasus and last year the first specimen was found in Sweden and Krokek is the first place in Östergötland, says Linnéa Carlzon, aquatic ecologist at the County Administrative Board in Östergötland.

Dogs from Skåne searched the gardens
On Saturday, two dog handlers from Malmö came with their specially trained dogs Sonja and Peggy to track snails and see the distribution in the residential area.
- We have found lots since this morning so this area really needs to be cleaned up, says Marie Koenen one of the dog handlers.
