After the assassination of Samuel Paty, the authorities are looking for solutions to fight radicalism at school and at university.

The former Minister of Education Jack Lang reacted, Sunday on Europe 1, to the remarks of Jean-Michel Blanquer on "Islamo-leftism", which he considers awkward.

He calls for an overhaul of the French education system.

Faced with the barbarity of the assassination of History professor Samuel Paty, politicians are looking for solutions.

Thursday, at the microphone of Europe 1, the Minister of Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer had castigated the "Islamo-leftism" reigning in certain universities.

His predecessor as minister, Jack Lang, guest of Europe 1 on Sunday, reacted to these comments: "Jean-Michel Blanquer has accustomed us to a certain restraint, he let himself be carried away," he said , adding: "To suggest that radical Islamism has invaded the university is an untruth."
