Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, October 25 (Reporter Liu Huan) "The Golden Ou is Perfect-Thematic Exhibition Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Taiwan's Recovery" opened at the National Museum of China on October 25.

More than 100 people from all walks of life, including Liu Jieyi, Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the CPC Central Committee, Zhu Xiaodan, Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Overseas Chinese Committee of the CPPCC, Huang Zhixian, Chairman of the National Taiwan Federation, Yang Jian, Vice Chairman of the Taiwan League Central Committee, and Yu Muming, Honorary Chairman of the New Party, attended the opening ceremony.

  Wang Chunfa, curator of the National Museum of China, said that the theme exhibition was held to commemorate the important historical event of Taiwan’s recovery, review the heroic struggle of Taiwan compatriots against Japanese invasion and colonial rule, and the great victory of compatriots on both sides of the strait against foreign aggression, and to promote the great nation. The spirit demonstrates that the mainland and Taiwan are an indivisible community of shared destiny. It encourages compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits to remember history, remember the martyrs, jointly defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity, share national justice, promote the reunification of the motherland, and realize the great dream of national rejuvenation.

  According to reports, this exhibition is divided into six parts: the treasure island of Taiwan, the common sorrow of Kyushu, the anti-Japanese war, the long song as a sword, the resurrection of war, and the realization of cross-strait dreams. A total of more than 160 sets of cultural relics in the National Museum of China are on display. The Qing Dynasty More than 50 sets of copies of important documents and files since then.

These historical documents and precious cultural relics systematically reproduce the history of Taiwan compatriots bravely resisting Japanese colonial rule, all Chinese sons and daughters, and Taiwan’s return to the motherland, reflecting the glorious tradition of patriotism and cross-strait relations of Taiwan compatriots who adhere to national integrity and vowed not to obey Japan. The unstoppable trend of the times moving forward strongly proves that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory and effectively reveals that national rejuvenation and national reunification are the general trend, the righteousness and the aspirations of the people.

  This exhibition will create an online pavilion, which will be launched on the official website of the National Museum of China after the two-month physical exhibition closes, allowing more people on both sides of the strait, especially Taiwan compatriots, to watch the exhibition, learn about history, and think about the future.
