Taiwanese media reported that there have already been 51 cases of adverse reactions in Taiwan since the influenza (flu) vaccination started on the 5th.



According to the Binfruit Daily, the Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare Disease Control Office (CDC) said on the 23rd that as of the 23rd, 51 reports of abnormal reactions were received among 4097,000 people vaccinated against influenza.



The disease control report added that 12 of the reported cases had severe adverse reactions such as myocarditis, which is an inflammation of the heart muscle, cellulitis (cellulitis), which is acute purulent inflammation, shock and shortness of breath.



The remaining 39 cases reported mild reactions such as dizziness, fever, and headache.



He explained that out of 51 mild and severe cases with adverse reactions, 12 were vaccinated by Sanofi in France and 39 were vaccinated by Taiwanese companies.
