New Corona Confirmed 138 Infections in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China October 26, 2:19

The Chinese government has announced that a total of 138 asymptomatic cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed between the 24th and the 25th in the Kashgar district of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

According to the government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in western China, a 17-year-old woman in the Kashgar district tested positive for the new coronavirus on a regular PCR test on the 24th.



After that, a test was conducted on people who may have close contact, and by the 25th, 137 people from the factory where the female parents work were positive.



All local governments say they are asymptomatic, with no fever or coughing.



According to Chinese media, flights were temporarily canceled or delayed at the airport in the Kashgar district on the 24th, but local governments say that flights and railroads have already returned to normal.



The local government is currently conducting a large-scale PCR test on more than 4.7 million people living in the Kashgar area.
