25 October 2020 Two municipalities in the province of Caserta, Marcianise and Orta di Atella, become the red zone, where in recent weeks the increase in Covid infections has been exponential, with increases of 448% and 800 percent respectively.



The president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, has just signed the relative ordinance, valid until 4 November, which excludes the industrial area of ​​Marcianise far from the urban area.



It is forbidden to enter or leave the two municipalities, except for healthcare or basic necessities operators.

There is a ban on removal from their homes except for the needs of supplying basic goods and services.



Public offices and shops closed with the exception of food and personal products, bars and restaurants closed which will only be able to carry out delivery activities.



Newsstands, tobacconists, pharmacies, parapharmacies remain open but not the markets.

Banking, insurance, financial services and activities aimed at ensuring the continuity of the production chain are excluded from the prohibitions.
