25 October 2020Rocco Casalino, the spokesman for Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, is in fiduciary self-isolation.

His partner and cohabitant, José Carlos, in fact tested positive for Covid-19, albeit asymptomatic. The swabs that Casalino underwent on Monday and Tuesday were both negative, but the prime minister's spokesperson - who was not at the press conference today - will have to do more before returning to work.

The last contact with Conte dates back to last Monday, keeping safe distances and respecting the anti-contagion rules.
