Curfew requires, many establishments now offer their customers to sit down to the table during opening hours… in the morning!

How about indulging in a gourmet breakfast?

Restaurant owners are adapting to the curfew which now concerns a large part of French territory, in the face of the coronavirus epidemic: they can be open until 9 p.m., but also ... early in the morning.

More and more people are now opening for breakfast.

What if you change your habits to sit at the table as soon as you get out of bed?

Luxury breakfast or coffee and sandwiches

We recognize it: it is not in the French habits.

We like the long time in the evening, from aperitif to digestive, with between the two, a whole lot of registers of celebrations for the stomach.

We are not the Germans who dine from 6 pm, nor even the Americans, from 5 pm ...

But perhaps we can indulge ourselves in the luxury breakfast at the Tour d'Argent in Paris, which opens in the morning for the first time in its history?

Or, if you prefer, a counter version with the Café du coin, rue Camille Desmoulins, which offers a simple café and honey spread!

Savory in the morning?

For the more adventurous, there is the Chinese version: at Gros Bao, in the 11th arrondissement, you can try braised pork, sticky rice or fried donuts right out of bed!

And it's not just for Parisians: in Lyon, if you can no longer dine, we invite you to taste the traditional and gastronomic local mâchon that was served to the canuts, these silk weavers of Croix-Rousse. .. early in the morning, because they started at 4 o'clock.

This tradition of lost pork returns, for example to La Meunière.

At Daniel and Denise, chef Joseph Viola offers you outright, by reservation and from 8 am, veal heads, dumplings and andouillette gratin.
