Spain's Giuseppe Guardiola, the Manchester City coach, maintained his unbeaten record against West Ham, and led his team to a precious 1-1 draw at London Olympic Stadium on Saturday in the sixth stage of the English Football League.

West Ham continued his revival in the competition, achieving a second consecutive draw after two consecutive victories, to make up for his defeat in his first two matches in the competition this season.

And ended the first half in his favor with a clean goal scored by Michel Antonio (18).

Manchester City responded in the second half with a tie through substitute Phil Foden (51).

The tie is the first for Manchester City's eight wins in the matches the Guardiola led team fought against West Ham in the Premier League, since he took over as coach of the team in the summer of 2016.

The result of the tie did not change the status of the two teams in the Premier League table, as the "Hammers" raised their tally to 8 points in tenth place on goal difference only against "Citizens".
