In Guinea, the electoral commission has just given the provisional overall results of the presidential election.

She declared the outgoing president Alpha Condé elected in the first round with 59.41% of the vote.

The opponent Cellou Dalein Diallo, who proclaimed himself the winner of the presidential election before the publication of the results, obtained 33.5% of the vote, according to the committee.

The provisional overall results were announced by the chairman of the Election Commission.

After the compilation of the partial provisional results in recent days, Alpha Condé, the Rally for the People of Guinea RPG Arc-en-Ciel, the ruling party, wins with 59.41% of the vote;

a little over 33% for his great rival Cellou Dalein Diallo of the Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea (UFDG) party.

Results announced in an official ceremony in a solemn setting, this is what the Independent National Electoral Commission (Céni) wanted in the presence of the Prime Minister, members of the government, ambassadors, observers, representatives of parties and platforms of civil society in a People's Palace under high security.

Entries are filtered three times before entering the room.

Cellou Dalein Diallo has been challenging the Electoral Commission from the start,
