A demonstration took place yesterday evening in the Sudanese capital Khartoum to denounce the transitional government’s announcement of the agreement with Israel to normalize relations, while Iran said - commenting on the declaration of normalization - that Sudan ignored the rights of the Palestinian people, and paid the appropriate ransom.

They made America remove his name from the list of terrorism.

Sudanese people who demonstrated yesterday night in Khartoum chanted slogans denouncing normalization and affirming the Sudanese’s refusal to negotiate or reconcile with Israel. The demonstrators stressed the Sudanese people's support for the Palestinian cause.

The protest came after the leaders of the United States, Israel and Sudan issued a joint statement declaring Israel and Sudan agreeing to normalize relations between them.

Some Sudanese political forces supported normalization between Khartoum and Tel Aviv, while other forces rejected it.

The leader of the Forces of Freedom and Change (the civil side participating in the ruling coalition) Al-Relief Suleiman described the decision as "courageous, because it ends Sudan's isolation with all countries of the world."

This is a historic day for our people, who have suffered for 27 years under the list of states sponsoring terrorism. We thank President Trump for removing our country from this list.

With this decision, we hope that our country will move towards the paths of glory by building balanced relations with the world for the sake of the Sudan of freedom, peace and justice.

He welcomed and rejected the

head of the "Revolutionary Front Front" delegation, Al-Tom Hajo, also welcomed the normalization agreement with Israel, and told Al-Jazeera that most of the Sudanese people support it, except for a lack of ideology.

He added that the normalization was linked to removing Sudan from the US terrorism list, and that the exchange of visits was expected soon.

On the other hand, other political parties rejected the decision to normalize normalization with Israel, and saw that Abdullah Hamdok's transitional government had taken a decision that was not within its powers, and those forces described Israel as the usurper racist entity, and there is no justification for recognizing it.

Ibrahim Al-Amin - a leader in the National Umma Party, which is one of the main components of the Forces of Freedom and Change - said that the Sudanese authorities ’decision to normalize normalization with Israel came as a result of“ dictations and external pressure on Khartoum, ”and that the Umma Party’s decision on this step would be to withdraw confidence from Hamdok’s government.

The National Consensus Forces group - one of the most prominent components of the Declaration of Freedom and Change - accused the transitional government of violating the constitutional document and breaking the principles of the "Sudan of the Three No's".

The grouping said - in a statement - that the transitional government has bowed to pressure to take positions that enhance US President Donald Trump's chances in the presidential elections.

He renewed - in a statement - his support for the Palestinian people, in order to obtain all their legitimate rights, and called for the freezing of any steps to normalization with Israel.

Earlier Friday, Sudanese Foreign Minister-designate Omar Qamar al-Din said that the transitional government had agreed to normalize relations with Israel, shortly after US President Donald Trump announced the matter, and Qamaruddin added that ratification of the agreement - until it enters into force - remains within the prerogative of Legislative bodies in the country, in statements carried by the official Sudanese News Agency.

And if Sudan signs the normalization agreement, it will become the fifth Arab country to conclude a normalization agreement with Israel, after Egypt (1979), Jordan (1994), and the UAE and Bahrain (2020).

Tripartite statement

Israel and Sudan agreed on Friday to normalize relations, coinciding with the announcement that US President Donald Trump signed a decree removing Sudan from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

Senior US officials said that President Trump struck the deal in a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Sudanese Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok.

The tripartite joint statement added that the leaders of Israel, America and Sudan agreed to start economic and trade relations between Sudan and Israel, with an initial focus on agriculture, stressing that America will take steps to restore Sudan's sovereign immunity, and work with international partners to ease its debt burden.

The American magazine Foreign Policy said Thursday that the US administration has refused to proceed with an agreement to remove Sudan from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism unless it recognizes Israel.

The newspaper said that Sudan is expected to announce the normalization of relations with Israel next week.

President Trump said that the Sudanese will be received and other countries whose names will be announced soon will join the list of printers with Israel, and the US President expected Saudi Arabia to join soon.

The Iranian position

In foreign reactions, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the Sudanese-Israeli normalization decision with a tweet in which it said, "If you ignore the crimes committed against the Palestinian people, and pay the appropriate ransom, then you will be removed from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism."

The Iranian Foreign Ministry added that it is clear that "this American list is forged and fabricated, like the United States' war on terror."

Hussein Amir Abd al-Lahian, advisor to the Iranian Parliament Speaker for International Affairs, said that Sudan’s normalization of its relations with Israel came in accordance with US orders and in return for 300 million dollars from Saudi Arabia, as he put it.

In his tweet on Twitter, Abdel-Lahian added that the Sudanese people will not betray the Jerusalem cause, and Israel will not have a place in the region in the future.

# Trump described the normalization of the relationship between the usurping entity and # Sudan as an American victory ?!

Why?!

Because this normalization in practice will not give Sudan anything, but rather it was taken from it when it paid hundreds of millions of the sustenance of its poor people, and more than that, the dear Sudanese man of dignity and dignity showed that he came to the house of obedience broken and humiliated

The Palestinian position

. The Palestinian presidency also condemned the normalization of relations between Sudan and Israel, as it contradicts the Arab peace initiative approved in the Arab and Islamic summits.

Palestinian factions condemned this step.

A member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Abu Yusuf, described Sudan’s normalization of its relations with Israel as a new stab in the back of the Palestinian people and a betrayal of its just cause.

The leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Sami Abu Zuhri, said that the announcement is painful and does not coincide with the history of Sudan that supported the Palestinian cause.

The Islamic Jihad Movement considered the agreement a "real threat to the identity and future of Sudan," describing it as a betrayal of the nation and the foundations of the Arab consensus.

On the other hand, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said Friday that he welcomes the joint efforts of Sudan, the United States and Israel to normalize relations between Tel Aviv and Khartoum.

The Arab Emirates News Agency (WAM) quoted a foreign ministry statement as Abu Dhabi welcomed Sudan's decision to normalize relations with Israel.

The ministry said, "Sudan's decision to initiate relations with the State of Israel is an important step to enhance security and prosperity in the region."
