Tags threatening an elected official with decapitation were discovered on Saturday at a school in the 8th arrondissement of Lyon, report local media which broadcast the photos.

"The mayor of the 8th, we will behead your head" (sic), it is notably written, targeting the ecologist councilor Olivier Berzane.

Another graffiti threatens to "behead teachers and students".

This Thursday inscriptions threatening such a fate Jérémie Bréaud, the LR mayor of Bron, a city close to Lyon, had been discovered in three different places, leading the Minister of the Interior to ask for the protection of the elected.
