A 20-year-old young man was sentenced to twelve months in prison, including two closed, on Friday by the Toulouse criminal court.

, he created a false profile of a radical Muslim shortly after the conflict in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine on October 16.

He then shared the tweet of Samuel Paty's assassin, with the teacher's decapitated head, along with the following text: "Decapitated teacher: the gwers [derogatory term for a white European], what is that" .

Incarcerated after trial

"I am part of a community of patriots on the forum, the subject was intended to provoke," said the accused, whose message was posted on the government platform Pharos.

He was jailed after the trial.
