"We work so that cafetiers and restaurant owners live"

"I see my friends who are business owners here, they are very penalized," he recalls at the microphone of Europe 1. "We are working so that cafetiers and restaurateurs live. We find ourselves in a situation where this is not possible. it is not public money that can help, we must give them the opportunity to work, that is what we are fighting for ".

"Complex state cogs"

A situation all the more delicate as the president of the region fears an administrative delay in the support measures for traders announced by the government.

"Aid up to 10,000 euros [up to 10,000 euros, editor's note] per company validated by the government is still not concretely in force because the application decrees are missing", points out in particular Renaud Muselier.

"There are these complex state cogs, with taps that are installed by a number of ministries and that block government decisions."

And to conclude: "it must go as close as possible and as soon as possible on our territory in order to save businesses".
