Politics The leader of the PSOE in Huelva, Ignacio Caraballo, 'sets fire' to the party with his maneuver to tie up his succession
Judicial process: Justice reopens the crack of the PSOE-A in Huelva and makes the leadership of its provincial secretary, related to Díaz, untenable
The general secretary of the PSOE of Huelva,
Ignacio Caraballo
, has ordered his lawyers to urgently file a complaint for a
false complaint
against a former PSOE militant, after the complaint that this person has filed against him for an alleged case of
gender violence
.
Ignacio Caraballo, who this Friday gave a statement in the Huelva Gender Violence Court, has declared before the judge his
"absolute" innocence
and has denied "categorically and emphatically" each one of the denounced facts -of which details have transpired, which according to his testimony have not occurred in any place or at any time.
For all this, the PSOE of Huelva has informed in a statement, it has ordered its lawyers to initiate all legal measures at its disposal to defend its image, its integrity and its honor.
In an order issued on October 23, the Gender Violence Court
did not adopt any precautionary measure
against Ignacio Caraballo, which proves the inconsistency of the complaint.
Ignacio Caraballo is convinced of his
"absolute" innocence
, therefore once the usual legal procedures in this type of procedure are completed, he is convinced that all proceedings will be immediately dismissed.
It also announces legal measures against all those manifestations that are made and that may harm its honor and image.
Finally, he has indicated that his "highest priority" at this time is his family "due to the profound personal damage he is suffering from all the
false facts
exposed by the complainant."
In this sense, Ignacio Caraballo has stated that he feels "a victim of a
political operation
that has been designed against him and in which the complainant has been used", for this reason it is his wish to be able to dismantle this operation as soon as possible to avoid further damage to those already caused.
Broken match
The complaint of a former socialist militant against Caraballo comes at a time when the PSOE of Huelva is literally broken, as reported by EL MUNDO.
The movements of the general secretary and president of the Diputación, Ignacio Caraballo, and his brother-in-law, the former PSOE-A spokesman in Parliament, Mario Jiménez, to ensure control of the formation have ended up breaking it.
Especially after Caraballo abruptly dismissed two of his vice presidents in the Diputación and relegated the critics who are part of his own executive in the party and who do not share his last steps or, in general, the strategy of the secretary general and the former parliamentary spokesperson since he took refuge in Huelva when he was relieved by Susana Díaz.
The remodeling of the government team chaired by Caraballo in the Diputación - which he has personally communicated to those affected - would result in the ouster of two of his vice presidents,
José Fernández and Ezequiel Ruiz
, to make way for his most faithful, placing them in the front line to
María Eugenia Limón
.
Thus, the mayor of San Bartolomé would be in the starting position to replace Caraballo himself on the eve of his more than probable prosecution in the Aljaraque case, in which he is accused of the
alleged attempt to buy votes
so that a motion of censure could go forward in that town hall.
