The accident was alerted at 20.06 on Friday night.
It is on the E4 at the height of Saltvik, the so-called Saltviksbacken, that the accident occurred.
It is not known if any person was injured.
Emergency services and an ambulance are on site.
According to the Swedish Transport Administration, work vehicles are on site to check the road barriers, and the road is kept closed, tentatively until 21.00.
