It is a bright July evening when the gray local bus leaves its stop in the Lombolo area in Kiruna.

Seven young people, of whom three sisters on their way home from the gym and two girls on their way home from a singing evening, are scattered in the bus that has just started rolling towards Tuolluvaara.

Four men run into the bus

When the bus driver sees a man running towards the bus in the right rearview mirror, he chooses to slow down.

The man is 20-year-old Reza Hoseini.

Before Reza gets on the bus, he stumbles and falls to the ground but quickly gets to his feet.

Shortly afterwards, three more men get on the bus.

It is the 47-year-old father and his two sons, 15 and 17 years old.

All three are today suspected and charged with the murder of Reza Hoseini.

Witness sees knife

The seven people sitting on the bus hear screams and how someone shouts

"call the police!"

four, five, six times in a row.

At first, many of them think that it is some guys who are fooling around and joking, before they understand that someone is actually getting hurt.

In the video above, you can see a short film sequence from inside the bus.

District Attorney Lindha Strömberg describes the sequence as important as all three perpetrators are around the plaintiff.

The film sequence is actually two seconds long but has been slowed down considerably.

Excerpts from the interrogation:

Police: What was it that made you understand that there was no mischief?

Witness: He started screaming and I see someone holding a knife over the guy who was in the corner.

I see blood on his face.

Shortly afterwards, one of the girls picks up her mobile phone and calls the police.

The driver is threatened when he calls the police

The bus driver, who is sitting right next to the knife attack, immediately understands that the situation is serious.

He contacts his colleagues but is shortly afterwards asked by one of the sons to hang up and not call the police.

He who says that, the 17-year-old suspect, then stands with a knife in one hand.

Shortly afterwards, the assault and distribution of the 99 stab wounds that cause Reza Hoseini to die on the spot begins.

The bus driver, who is trapped in his driver's booth because the door is blocked by the men, estimates that it all goes on for ten minutes and that none of the suspects say anything.

Witness did not dare to look back

The driver tries to open the driver's door so that Reza Hoseini can escape, but the door cannot be upset as the suspects stand in the way.

In the end, the bus driver panics so much that he jumps out the side window and runs to the bus behind.

When the bus driver escapes, the seven people on the bus have already run out.

One of them says that she just ran without daring to look at the front of the bus, where the act took place, when everything felt disgusting.

Another saw Reza Hoseini lying motionless on the floor.

Gets out when the men have disappeared

The bus driver and the seven witnesses run into the bus behind them and explain what has happened.

As they sit on the bus, they see how two of the suspects get out of the bus where Reza Hoseini was killed.

Only when the men have left the place does everyone dare to leave the bus and get out.

But the suspected 15-year-old is still on the bus in front of them and steps out in the same crank as the police call the girl who has previously been in contact with them.

The 15-year-old then approaches the girl and asks her to hang up.

She then interrupts the conversation immediately due to fear.

Shortly afterwards, the police show up and arrest the three suspects who are now charged with murder.

Note: SVT Nyheter Norrbotten has based itself on the police's preliminary investigation when the text was written.

What is told above is collected witness information from seven different witnesses who were all on the bus on 15 July 2020.
