Stockholm's new zone for electrified driving is a first step on the road to lowering emission levels in the inner city properly. SVT was present when Trafikborgarrådet Daniel Helldén (MP) tested the new zone on Södermalm.
Through so-called geofencing technology, the car switches to electric driving when it enters an electric zone.
Currently, there are zones for Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Uppsala and SVT was involved when Daniel Helldén (MP) tested the new technology on Hornsgatan.
