Fredrica Bornstedt lives with her husband and two children in a villa in Värmland's Jössefors.

For almost six years she has commuted across the border to her job as a teacher in Austmarka, Norway.

When Norway closed the border during the corona pandemic, she had to show both a passport and a certificate from her employer to get to her job.

Now a corona test is also required.

- I have to test myself at least every seven days, she says.

What happens if you do not test yourself?

- Then I would not be allowed to work.

Fredrica Bornstedt is skeptical that commuting Swedes must be coronated.

Addition to the Norwegian Corona Act

The new rules are an addition to the Norwegian so-called corona law, and apply to all 14,300 Swedes who commute across the border to permanent jobs in Norway every day.

On the Norwegian side of the national border at Morokulien, there is now a test center, open 24 hours a day.

Swedish coronatest is not approved.

- No, it must be registered in Norway.

A Norwegian test, says Jon Ivar Bergersen, who is responsible for the test center.

Why are these tests needed?

- It is to avoid more infection and have control over those who enter the country.

"Comes from a municipality with extremely little infection"

But Fredrika Bornstedt is skeptical.

She is the only Swede in her workplace, and therefore the only one who has to coronate herself.

- I thought it was a joke.

I do not understand the point when the others in the staff are not tested.

Especially as I come from a municipality with extremely little infection.

In the clip, you hear Fredrica talk about the feeling of being the only one in her workplace who has to try corona testing.
