A bunch of friends decided to cross part of Spain for a good cause.

New Explorers

They are currently in Jaén in the northeast of Andalusia on their bikes.

For the past few days, Jacques and Pierre-Nicolas have been crossing part of Spain to raise funds for several associations (Smile of Children, The Alzheimer Research Foundation and Everyone Against Cancer).

These two Bordeaux residents are part of the “New Explorers”, a group of six amateur cyclists from different horizons and nationalities.

It was their friend Alexandre Olive who offered them this adventure.

He is a specialist in the field, as

20 Minutes

told it

this summer: “After 3,000 km, in July, alone across France for the Association Petits Princes, it was fashionable to share the experience with others. crazy about the pedal and continue to sensitize ardently for just and benevolent causes ”.

They left Barcelona a few days ago and must reach Seville by the weekend through 10 stages of approximately 140 kilometers each (Cambrils, Peniscola, Valencia, Benidorm, Murcia, Velez-Rubio, Pozo Alcon, Jaén , Lucena).

The objective of this group of friends is to collect as many donations as possible for these three associations.

They hope to reach at least 3,000 euros thanks to the solidarity of their relatives, colleagues and especially people crossed during their journey.
