Last Wednesday, a shopkeeper in downtown Toulouse received a far from trivial phone call.

At the end of the line, a voice told him that his store was going to be the target of a terrorist attack.

Given the current context, and not knowing whether or not it was a hoax, the managers of the sports shoes brand decided to file a complaint with the central police station.

Quickly, the departmental security investigators succeeded in identifying the origin of the call, reports

La Dépêche du Midi.

Behind the call, a 14-year-old teenager, far from being a jihadist.

During his summons by the police this week, where he came with his father, he explained that he had imagined this tasteless joke with two other friends.

And that they had made this phone call from their college playground.

The young man was left free according to the daily.
