In 10 years, vehicle traffic to the national park has tripled - more and more people want to walk in the Skuleskogen national park.
A tourist success with a downside.
The southern entrance to the park goes straight through the small village of Käl.
This season, just under 40,000 vehicles have been counted, counted back and forth.
But now the County Administrative Board is working on behalf of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency to investigate new, alternative roads to Skuleberget.
Two alternative routes to Entrance South are being investigated.
