China News Service, October 22. According to Korean media reports, on the 22nd local time, South Korean prosecutors asked the court to sentence Zhao Zhubin, the principal culprit of "House N", to life imprisonment.

Korean media previously exposed a series of cyber crimes, collectively referred to as the "Room N" case.

Some people set up encrypted chat rooms on instant messaging software to upload and share illegally taken sexual exploitation videos and photos, which can only be viewed by paying members.

The platform can set up private chat, delete information regularly after reading, etc., and support virtual currency transactions.

"Room N" is operated by multiple people. Among them, the person who is nicknamed "Doctor" and whose real name is Zhao Zhubin is the one that attracted the most attention.

Starting in 2019, Zhao Zhubin uploaded a large number of photos of suspected sex crimes in the "Doctor's Room" and blackmailed the victims.

The prosecutor said on the same day that “the victims are calling for the defendant to be severely punished with tears. They are required to be sentenced to life imprisonment and 45 years of wearing positioning electronic devices (electronic fetters).”

On March 25, 2020, Zhao Zhubin was transferred to the prosecution for review and prosecution.

South Korean prosecutors detained Zhao Zhubin on April 13 for being suspected of 14 crimes.

On the other hand, on October 12, South Korean prosecutors have asked the court to sentence the founder of "Room N", Wen Heng Xu (screen name "godgod") to life imprisonment, and allow him to wear electronic anklets and restrict employment.

The prosecution stated that Wen Hengxu committed crimes in a planned way in order to satisfy his own selfish desires and caused harm to many people, so he proposed the above-mentioned criminal liability.
