Hörby's municipal director Lena Mårtensson Stenudd and social director Jan Olof Sewring may leave their jobs.

It is clear after Thursday's press conference.

But several union representatives in Hörby municipality question both the decisions about who may quit, and how the municipal management handled the whole issue.

Message surprises

Maria Westlund represents the Saco Council in Hörby, and thinks it is strange that HR manager Paul Eklund remains.

- We are very surprised that the HR manager is allowed to stay because he has been a part of this mess, says Maria Westlund.

She believes that he has failed in his professional practice by not conducting an investigation into the reason for the conference events.

Hanna Ström from Akademikerförbundet SSR thinks that the decision to keep Paul Eklund was made too early.

- We ask ourselves whether it is possible to make a decision to keep the HR manager before the investigation into the culture of silence in the municipality has been made, she says.

Slow action

Per Persson Landqvist from the Swedish Teachers' Association criticizes how Hörby's political leadership has acted after the conference with a nude bath.

- That's what's the serious thing, that you did not deal with it immediately when it happened, he says.

Maria Westlund believes that confidence in Hörby municipality as an employer is low among both employees and union representatives.

- We have a long way to go to find peace of mind in our municipality, she says.
