Since the district court acquitted the boyfriend of murder, Gunilla Tholander alone has pursued the case.

But the Court of Appeal upheld the district court's ruling that the boyfriend should be sentenced for grossly causing another person's death instead of murder.

It is clear that the boyfriend shot Jennie Tholander in the head, but it was not possible without reasonable doubt, to rule out that the incident was an accident.

Many have joined behind the mother Gunilla Tholander's struggle for a new trial.

First in the Court of Appeal and then in the wish that the Supreme Court should grant leave to appeal.

Among other things, several fundraisers have been launched to finance appeals.

But today, Thursday, the Supreme Court's decision came - they do not take up the case.
