The director of US National Intelligence,
John Ratcliffe,
warned this Wednesday that Iran and Russia have obtained information from US voters and that they are trying to interfere in the elections on November 3.
"We want to alert the public that we have identified that two foreign actors, Iran and Russia, have taken specific actions to
influence public opinion in relation to our elections,
" Ratcliffe said in an FBI appearance 13 days before the elections.
Ratcliffe has assured that Iran has sent emails to Americans "designed to
intimidate voters,
incite social unrest and harm President [Donald] Trump."
