After the national tribute paid to Samuel Paty, assassinated for showing caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad during a course on freedom of expression, another case has yet to stir up trouble.
In Haute-Garonne, a high school student was indicted after insulting her teacher.
The hanging took place following a civic education class where the subject of the veil was discussed in class.
"We will be in support of this teacher", reacts Jean-Michel Blanquer, Minister of National Education, on Europe 1.
"This is not an isolated fact because the reporting system that we have set up has identified a little more than 900 facts of this type during the last school year", reveals Jean-Michel Blanquer.
