The investigation intends to petition for the selection of a preventive measure in the form of detention in connection with Bykov's acquaintance with a key witness in the case and the possibility of influencing him or hiding from the investigation and the court.
Earlier, Bykov's lawyer announced his re-arrest.
On October 22, a court in Krasnoyarsk transferred Bykov to house arrest.
At the end of August, it was reported that Bykov had become a defendant in the murder case in 2004.
The businessman was also charged with leading a criminal community and organizing a double murder in 1994.
