On Thursday, it was time for the annual total defense conference, where the County Administrative Board of Östergötland and the Helicopter Flotilla present their work with the total defense.
This year, however, the conference was different, as in addition to the usual topic, it was also discussed how the experiences from the corona pandemic can help during contingency planning for the total and civil defense.
- It will take several years before we get the right ability, but at the same time you can say that some of the abilities have been practiced much faster through this pandemic, says Carl Fredrik Graf, governor of Östergötland.
