Updated numbers in Italy and in the world



From the data of the Ministry of Health today there are 16,079 new infections and 136 deaths with 170,392 swabs.



Yesterday 15,199 were infected and 127 died with 177,848 swabs carried out.



Today there are 9,694 hospitalized patients with symptoms in Italy, compared to yesterday, an increase of 637 cases.



In intensive care they increased by 66 units for a national total of 992. 



In home isolation there are 158,616 patients, ie 13,157 more than yesterday.



The total of currently positives is 169,302 patients, an increase of 13,860 compared to yesterday.



There are 259,456 people discharged and recovered, an increase of 2,082 units.



136 have died in the last 24 hours for a national total of 36,968.



The total cases are 465,726 (+16,079).



The swabs in the last 24 hours were 170,392 for a total of 14,132,421.

"Today, out of over 21 thousand swabs there are 1,251 positive cases, 16 deaths and 107 cured. The ratio between swabs and positives is improving, which is 5.7%. In the provinces there are 370 cases and four deaths in the last 24 hours ". This was underlined by the councilor for health and social and health integration of the Lazio Region, Alessio D'Amato, taking stock at the end of today's videoconference of the regional task force for Covid-19 with the general managers of the ASL and hospitals, university polyclinics and the Bambino Gesù pediatric hospital.



In Emilia Romagna 889 new cases and 6 deaths


Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 43,477 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 889 more than yesterday, out of a total still very high of 16,179 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. Of the new positives, 486 asymptomatics were identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. The control and prevention activity continues: a total of 224 people (among the new positives) were already in isolation at the time of the swab and 304 were identified in the context of already known outbreaks. The average age of new positives today is 46.2 years. The province with the most infections is that of Bologna (235), followed by Reggio Emilia (114), Rimini (86), Modena (84), Parma (76), Piacenza (75), Ferrara (57), Ravenna (52) , the area of ​​Cesena (43), the territory of Forlì (36) and that of Imola (31).
