Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, October 22. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteers’ going abroad to fight the United States and Aid Korea. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission issued the "Chinese People’s Volunteers’ Going Abroad to Fight the United States and Aid Korea 70 Anniversary" medal.

  The medal is made of gold-plated copper and silver, with a diameter of 50 mm.

The core part of the medal is the image of volunteer soldiers and 70 beams of light. It is surrounded by a ribbon made of peace doves, water patterns and the national flags of China and North Korea. The outer part uses five stars, laurel leaves and arrows symbolizing the five battles to form Jindalai. The five-petal shape of the flower symbolizes the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteers’ fight against U.S. aggression and aid to Korea. It implies that the great war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea is a just battle to defend peace and resist aggression. The firm resolve and confidence to fight the enemy, maintain world peace, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.
