14 newly confirmed cases in 31 provinces are all imported cases

According to the website of the National Health Commission, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 14 new confirmed cases from 0-24 on October 21, all imported from abroad. Cases (8 in Shanghai, 3 in Guangdong, 2 in Sichuan, and 1 in Fujian); no new deaths; 2 new suspected cases, all imported cases (all in Shanghai).

　　On the same day, 16 new cases were cured and discharged, and 623 close contacts were released from medical observation. The number of severe cases decreased by 1 compared with the previous day.

　　There are 234 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 1 severe case) and 5 suspected cases.

A total of 3,167 confirmed cases, a total of 2,933 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.

　　As of 24:00 on October 21, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 245 confirmed cases (including 2 severe cases), 80,850 cured and discharged cases, and 4,634 deaths. A total of 85,729 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are 5 suspected cases.

A total of 848,217 close contacts have been traced, and 8,473 close contacts are still under medical observation.

　　31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 25 new asymptomatic infections (all imported from abroad); 1 confirmed case (imported from abroad) on the same day; 21 medical observations were lifted on the same day (all imported) Imported overseas); 406 cases of asymptomatic infection are still under medical observation (405 imported overseas).

　　A total of 5,859 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Among them, there were 5269 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (5004 discharged from hospital, 105 deaths), 46 in Macau Special Administrative Region (46 discharged from hospital), and 544 cases in Taiwan (495 discharged from hospital, 7 deaths).
