"According to preliminary data, there were four people on board: a pilot born in 1969, two men born in 1974 and born in 1969, and a woman born in 1993," the ministry said in a statement.
It is specified that by now only the body of a man born in 1969 has been found.
"Search activities are being carried out to locate the whereabouts of other persons," the message says.
On October 20, a Robinson R44 helicopter crashed into a power line and fell into a river in the Vologda region.
Investigative Committee opened a criminal case into the incident.
