“Once again, we urge you to refrain from disseminating unconfirmed information that could interfere with the operation,” the department said.
The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs added that "at this stage, 43 hostages taken by the invader were released, and the police transferred them to a safe territory, and investigative measures are continuing on the spot."
