Through the foundation, the police manage the property, with 15 turn-of-the-century apartments - most of them large parade floors.

Among other things, the foundation is there to provide support to needy police officers.

Carin Götblad was chairman of the housing foundation from 2003 to 2012 and received a six-room apartment in the property in 2004. Ulf Johansson has been chairman of the foundation since 2015 and in 2018 a lease for a one-room apartment went to one of his children, who is a police officer.

"Did not participate in the decision"

Dagens Nyheter has contacted Carin Götblad, who does not want to comment on the information.

Ulf Johansson has answered questions via email and states that:

"All police employees have the right to register their interest in a home in the foundation's property."

When DN returns with more questions, the police's press department answers that Ulf Johansson did not participate in the process surrounding the decision.

The County Administrative Board in Stockholm has previously examined how Ulf Johansson's children got their apartment and concluded that it was not a dispute because Johansson himself did not win anything financially from the lease.

But Olle Lundin, professor of administrative law at Uppsala University, tells DN that it is about corruption.
