Spain has measured the highest number of new infections per day since the start of the pandemic. In Madrid, half of all intensive care units are occupied by patients with covid-19. - Many fear that it will be like this spring, with overcrowded departments and painful priorities, says SVT's European correspondent David Boati.
The infection starts to increase again in August and is now at record high levels.
In total, throughout Spain, every fourth place in the intensive care units is full and in Madrid it is even worse.
