21 October 2020 According to what appears, more than 4000 new positives recorded today in Lombardy, compared to about 36 thousand swabs performed.
These are record numbers for the region that bring the buffer / positive ratio to around 11%, compared to 9.3% yesterday.
About 300 of the new positives are hospitalized in covid wards and a dozen more are patients in intensive care.
The previous record of positive cases was on 21 March with 3,251 positives but a much lower number of swabs.
