October 21, 2020A volunteer involved in the clinical trial of the Covid-19 vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford has died in Brazil.



This was announced by the agency responsible for public health which however announced that the tests continue.

No other details on the death were provided.

The man was Brazilian but it was not known where he lived.



This was reported by the Reuters agency taken up by the Bloomberg agency, citing the Brazilian health authority Anvisa and the federal university of Sao Paulo which helps to coordinate Phase 3 of the trial in the South American country.
