The earth shook Tuesday evening in Loire-Atlantique.

A moderate earthquake, of magnitude 3.1 on the Richter scale, was indeed measured by the National Seismic Monitoring Network (RéNaSS).

The episode was recorded around 11:25 p.m. between Saint-Père-en-Retz and Corsept, in the west of the department.

Despite the late hour, it was felt in the Pays-de-Retz and the entire Nazairian region.

“It made an impressive noise anyway.

I thought it was a truck that went into the wall that surrounds the house, ”says Charlène, who lives in Pornic.

Nice the earthquake in Pornic 🙂
