Zelensky announced Kiev's search for new ways to "return" territories

“You can post as many funny memes about the security guarantees of the Budapest Memorandum as you like, but this will not return our territories.

We are looking for new effective tools for this, ”Zelensky said in his message to the Verkhovna Rada.

As reported, Zelensky discussed with the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell the creation of a negotiating platform on Crimea.

Earlier, Zelensky said that Crimea "will definitely return" to Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed that the issue is closed for Russia.

According to him, the referendum on the peninsula was held in strict accordance with international law.

Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014, in which most residents voted in favor of reunification with Russia.
